Chris Felix Counselling Therapy and Psychotherapy in Los Angeles

about me

Hello, I am Chris

Hello there! It’s my pleasure to introduce myself as Chris, a highly trained and empathetic therapist who is passionate about empowering my clients. I truly believe that everyone has the potential to achieve inner peace and self-discovery through therapy. When you work with me, you can trust that I will create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your innermost thoughts and emotions.

I specialize in integrating multiple therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to provide you with the most effective treatment possible. Additionally, if you are a college student struggling with performance anxiety, I’ve got you covered! I offer practical advice, concrete resources, and valuable skills in between sessions to help you make progress.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from New York University, which allows me to bring an extensive knowledge base to our sessions. Furthermore, I am actively working towards receiving a license in mental health counseling (LMHC) to ensure that I am always providing the highest level of care to my clients. Trust me, you’re in good hands with me!

How do I work?

Let's find out together what you need and how I can help you with it.

Contact us by phone or email. In a free and non-binding initial telephone call or video call, we can clarify the rough order and it is possible to get to know each other.

Therapy can take place via in-person or through online. Online therapy sessions is on various data protection-compliant online platforms. Ultimately, counselling therapy is also possible in a hybrid form, i.e. a change between online and face-to-face.

A therapy session usually lasts for 45 minutes. I can make you a concrete proposal after a first conversation for the amount of sessions that work best for you needs.

After an initial telephone contact, I will make you an offer. If that appeals to you, we will arrange a first therapy session. Both sides then decide again whether they can imagine further cooperation.
