Professional Background
Before pursuing my graduate degree, I worked as a New York City EMT where I was able to interact with and help individuals from all walks of life before and during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. My experience helping people through times of extreme crisis equipped me to provide support to anyone overcoming even the most challenging circumstances in their lives.
I possesses extensive experience in the field of therapy, having provided counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. My clinical training includes valuable experience gained from providing counseling to incarcerated youth within New York City detention centers, and additional training acquired through my tenure at a reputable private practice in New York City.
I demonstrate a notable aptitude for working with youth and young adults navigating transitional phases in life while grappling with significant systemic challenges. I dedicate myself to assisting individuals in overcoming these adversities.
Having grown up in multiple countries including Spain, Saudi Arabia, Israel, South Africa, Greece and the USA, I have had the opportunity to gain multicultural insight and awareness that has helped me interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds who may find themselves in my care.
